python-logsparser software package provides Python library for log parsing, tagging and analysis., you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-logsparser
python-logsparser is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-logsparser package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-logsparser *
You will get with python-logsparser package name, version, architecture and description in a table
